Extrusion Control= Material Throughput Control + Cost Control
TSM Extrusion Control means you can reduce your material consumption and wastage while optimizing material usage for consistent product output and receive complete order information for reporting and analysis. Extrusion control works by coordinating the extruder speed (RPM) and the material being fed to your extruder. Automatic monitoring and adjustment of both material input and extruder speed means you eliminate variations in output. You will optimize your production output for materials inputted while maintaining consistent product quality. Not using extrusion control usually leads to wastage, especially during the start-up and slow down phases of an order, as the material feed rate into the extruder and extruder speed are not controlled simultaneously. As the system maintains the balance between material input speed and extruder speed the systems can instantaneously speed up or slow down without loss in product quality. TSM Extrusion Control system will also provide Roll, Order and Shift summaries by component, allowing precise calculation of material costs, profit margins per customer order etc.
